I scream, you scream, we all scream for.. ultra chromes!?!
I've finally finished my swatches for the new I Love NP Ultra Chromes and though I'm not too pleased with how my photos turned out, I am beyond happy with the colors! I was so shocked to see that what you get in the bottle is what you get on your nails as well. (Though the bottle is easier to photograph!)
HOWEVER, I made a video on these as well for those who may have missed it in which the colors show quite beautifully!
What else is so surprising about these gorgeous shades, you ask? Well, I'd just like to point out that these chromes are also incredibly opaque. You get bottle color in two coats, no base color needed!
Before I begin, I want to give you guys a little bit of back story on this collection.
When I first tried these, I fell in love. However I noticed that the brushes were pretty wide and flared out which made application a little difficult. The colors being well, the colors they are, this didn't bother me much but I did report it to Barbra, the talented lady behind I Love NP. I am so pleasantly surprised and beyond proud to say she immediately took action about this issue. She even went through the trouble of having to order 100,000 of her old brushes just to be able to get them again and replace the faulty ones.
Things like this are what really attract me to companies. I respect Barbra so much for putting so much time, effort, and a lot of money into making sure her customers are happy with her products. I felt like this was something that I really needed to share in this post because I know that I, and I'm sure a lot of people, don't consider how much goes into making these polishes we use.
